When you use these websites, online stores on them, registering for events (lectures, seminars and workshops), the data controller processes your data in accordance with the relevant regulations on the protection of personal data.

This Privacy Policy describes the types of data we process and the purposes of your rights related to such processing. Please read this Policy carefully before continuing to use our websites and services. If you do not agree with the principles and guidelines stated here, please do not use these websites and our offer.

Personal data we process and the purpose of processing

We collect personal data in accordance with applicable regulations in order to send you notifications by email, respond to your inquiries, and include you in the selected content of our activities.

We process data solely on the basis of your consent and voluntarily expressed interest (when you send us an email with an inquiry or comment, or register for a specific activity). In the case of online purchases, they are necessary for fulfilling your order (delivery to the desired address), e.g. when purchasing books or related products in the online store.

We process the following categories of personal data:

  1. Contact (email) and username are required to create a user account on the websites. This data is stored on our server, protected to a reasonable extent using methods known to us for protection against hacking. At any time, the user has the ability to access, modify, and delete this data through their user account, or may contact us with such a request. This data is not transferred to other websites and is not shared with third parties.
  2. Contact details (address, phone) required for ordering products from the online store, or their delivery/pick-up to the requested address. The order form includes a consent form with clear explanations of how the collected data will be stored and processed.
  3. Purchase data from the online store, e.g. purchased products, invoice amount, chosen payment method, purchase frequency. (We do not collect credit card data, bank account information, or any other payment method details. We may use independent services for online payments, but we have no insight into card data or other financial data of customers.)
  4. Data on participation in seminars and workshops (type and date) required as examples for participation in related modules, advanced programs in the same field, and similar. This data may be used to send notifications about such advanced additional programs. At the end of each seminar, workshop, or program, participants are given the opportunity to sign a paper consent form or revoke it so that we preserve their data in this way.
  5. When registering for some courses, seminars, counseling, and workshops, users may fill out questionnaires that help determine their suitability for attending a specific course, e.g. questions about general condition, possible health restrictions for participation in a program, or their motivation and specific requirements (individual adaptation of the program or counseling). Such data serves only for the purpose of registration for a specific educational program, is not entered into a computer, and is not stored (it is destroyed upon completion of the program or shredded).

Data listed under points 2, 3 and 4 are used exclusively as internal evidence for, e.g. giving discounts on additional purchases or continuity of attending seminars related in content, or advanced modules conditioned by attending basic ones. Data is stored on the data controller’s own account according to the Rules of each legal entity and included in the DA group. Data is handled with the utmost care and caution, protected with modern methods against unauthorized access. This data is used only for the stated purposes within the DA group. The user has the right to insight into the stored data, as well as the right to request their deletion by sending an email to dainformacije@gmail.com.

We do not collect or use personal data of minors (within reasonable limits, unless we are able to determine the age of the user), except with the explicit consent of parents or guardians. If you are a minor, please do not send us your personal data, as we will not process such data. If, despite this, we discover without our knowledge that contact was made at the request of a minor, or in the case of transmission of personal data from such a party, we will delete the data and explicitly disclaim any responsibility for such contact without our intention.

Cookies

When visiting our websites, we may use “cookies”. When first visiting a website, the user will be shown a notice about the existence of cookies and asked for their acceptance. “Cookies” are small text files generated by the web server and stored on the user’s device via the browser (e.g. desired language or website settings, registration status on the user account, and similar) that the user’s browser can reproduce when returning to the website. The user of the web page through the settings of their web browser can always independently regulate (restrict or disable) the reception of cookies.

Newsletter list “Life offers more”

The DA group maintains a joint Newsletter list called “Life offers more” which it uses to communicate its offers and send notifications about relevant members, books, lecturers, seminars and other events. For this purpose we use the MailChimp platform which is fully adapted to GDPR requirements. Every user can subscribe to the mailing list themselves through the online form on our websites.

Data (name and email) collected at courses, lectures, or when purchasing books and other products may be added to the mailing list. In that case, the user will be asked to fill out a written form that is in accordance with GDPR regulations and in which they give explicit consent for the use of that data for the purpose of notification via mailing list.

Access to the MailChimp mailing list is held by persons authorized for the storage and processing of data determined by a special document of the data collection records of the DA group.

At the bottom of every email the user receives from us, there is a link to modify or delete data. Deletion or modification can also be requested by email to dainformacije@gmail.com

Communication of data to third parties

We do not sell, transfer, or disclose data we collect on our websites or at organized events, seminars, and workshops to anyone outside the DA group, except when we are required to do so by law. Your personal data will be stored only for as long as necessary for the purposes stated earlier.

In the case of order fulfillment, your personal data (address) will be forwarded to suppliers necessary for service fulfillment, postal office, or courier service.

If there are legal changes in the structure of the DA group’s members (change of statutes, legal successors, restructuring or transfer of ownership), your data may be transferred to the new legal entity which will be obliged to comply with these provisions. We will inform users about this, who will have the ability to control their data (modification or deletion).

User rights

Providing consent for the processing of personal data is not mandatory, but refusing to provide consent for data processing as stated above may prevent the user from using certain website content, attending additional courses or educational modules, and prevent receiving information about the DA group’s offerings.

By sending personal data to the DA group, the user does not waive the rights guaranteed by positive regulations of the Republic of Croatia and GDPR provisions protecting personal data, including in particular the right to request correction or deletion of their own personal data from the database.

User rights include:

  1. a) Right of access: users whose data is being processed have the right to obtain confirmation of that, as well as access to the personal data relating to them and information on the purpose of the processing, the categories of personal data, the recipients of the data, the period for which the data will be stored, and other related rights.
  2. b) Right to rectification: users have the right to request the correction of inaccurate personal data or the completion of incomplete data. Registered users on the websites and those subscribed to the mailing list may access their data at any time and edit or update it directly through their user account or via the link included in every email they receive in this way.
  3. c) Right to erasure: users have the right, at any time, to request the deletion of personal data relating to them. Registered users on the websites and those subscribed to the mailing list can at any time delete their user account on their own.

If you believe that your rights have been violated, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP).

The DA group commits to:

  1. Inform the user whether or not their personal data is being processed;
  2. Correct or delete the user’s personal data free of charge and without delay;
  3. Restrict or cease the processing of the user’s personal data upon the user’s request
