Sometimes I wonder how is it possible that so many people forget about the truth? Really, how is it possible that they don’t see it? Not to see what is real, looks pretty hard to me. But, the answer is obvious – there is too much noise INSIDE them, so it becomes impossible to distinguish what is true and what is false.
I don’t want to speak about the noise outside us – by itself, this noise has no power to influence the perception of reality. Inner noise is, however, something completely different. If under its spell, you can go deaf and blind at the same time.
The way out is the silence. But again, not the outer one. However pleasant it might be, it is actually unimportant. The inner silence can save us from the trap of illusion and take us to the place where we can at least forebode, and maybe even see, what is REAL.
Every year I guide people into the deep peace of inner silence. It’s my job. I am quite skillful at it, and I am doing it well. But, the problem is that people usually need much more silence than they think. Many times they choose to trade the noise of everyday life for the noise of some exotic touristic destination. That can give them a little break from the usual, but rarely they do understand what they will receive has no significant value. Just another spin on the same merry goes around slavery circle!
Of course, most of them don’t mind. They are sleepers who even don’t know they are asleep. But, here and there you can find someone who is quite lucid in this dream which is called life. Such a person knows s/he is dreaming, but still doesn’t know how to wake up. Nor s/he knows WHO will wake up from the dream called ME.
Among those lucid dreamers, you can find again rare few who are really determined to wake up. They are ready to say: “NOW is the time. I will not stand anymore this illusion, this noisy madhouse, and this chaos of simulation due to which I don’t hear or see. I will stop now and let the inner silence prevail. I will do everything that is needed to wake up (including the hardest thing, unimaginable to sleepers: no-thing).
I admire those few. They are my happiness. They give me hope. They are still around, somehow finding their way to me.
This time 18 of them found me. I was preparing them for at least two years. With more others, of course, but others decided to wait a little. So, I am left with 18 people, now and here. 18 lucid dreamers, ready to be awakened.
We have two weeks together. Fourteen days which we will spend in deep peace. Fourteen days until awakening. If less will be needed, what has left we we’ll spend celebrating.
This gathering is called very academic: “The Advanced Study of Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras”. But, this is just a basis we built upon. Or, even better, the dancing floor to play on! Yoga, consciousness, hidden abilities, Self, Soul… We will talk about it all. Or not. If silence will be more important.
Because, in the end, what is of interest to us is just awakening. The final impulse for the step beyond and out of non-reality. Will we make that step? Will the sleepers wake up?
I can’t answer that question. But, what I know and what I am certain about is that days to come will be soooo good, so strong and special, that in spite of my best intention I will not be able to describe them to anyone.
So, I decided to do it now, at the moment when my 18 warriors just stepped into the silence and removed the first layer of noisy dust. Tomorrow, the silence will become so powerful that I will not have the will nor wish to talk, and no time to write.
So, I will be back to you then. In fourteen days or so.
Stay well and blissful! Or whatever suits your reality best.
